When you can't hear - look****

Genesis 21:15-19  (Hagar and Ishmael are sent away and run out of water)......

'When the water in the skin was gone she put the boy under one of the bushes then she went off and sat down about a bowshot away, for she thought, “I cannot watch the boy die.” As she sat there she began to sob.  God heard the boy crying and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there.  Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.”

Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink.'

Hagar thought it was all over but God had other plans.  She thought they would die of thirst. In her distress she couldn't see what was right in front of her. Hagar forgot what God had told her about her future. She needed a calming influence and the Angel provided that. 

When we are facing difficult times it can seem as if there is no possible rescue.  Don't let the circumstances blind you. God has a solution and He knows exactly how close you are to it. Be bold, don't be afraid to ask Him to show where the 'water' is.  Don't be afraid to ask Him to help you see what He has already placed in your vicinity.  

I learned from this - no matter how bad things become God knows where the 'water' is, unless He says otherwise I will survive.
